Stage 9: New Adventures Ahead

22 Dec 2022

Hey, how are you doing today? Are you doing alright? It's that time of year right, the new year….. I've honestly never been a big fan of the new year! Why? Well, I'm not one for resolutions or “new year, new me”. I prefer to reflect on what’s happened and look forward to what’s to come. It's one big adventure at the end of the day.

It also got me thinking, this time of year can be hard for some. This time of year will be first Christmas, someone will spend one without their mother, father, son, wife, daughter, etc. If you know someone like that, why not check in on them, share a moment or invite them to be with you?

Now what’s been going on? Well, I finally got my Race calendar aligned for 2023, and ohhhh it's going to be fun. If you want to check it out it’s here

#aeroerack

With new adventures on the horizon, it's only right that I have some equipment that is up to the job. Enter Aeroe, the bikepacking / race system that’s light, easy to attach, fits any bike and honestly much better than the swinging saddle bag. Not to mention I am a big fan of the orange…. If you are keen to check it out, I can highly recommend it. Full disclosure Aeroe sent me these, but there’s no bias in this, as I am truly impressed and converted to never having a saddle bag if I can again.

This is one of my own adventures. Last year, myself and friends decided to ride through Europe using just a compass and maps we found, and that’s what we did. The result is above, we got lost, we had fun, and we slept rough the entire journey. This trip was supported by: DT Swiss, Wahoo, Uvex & Wechsel Tents.
