In 2024, I was commissioned by Uvex to capture content for their Surge helmet, along side their Tour de France campaign. Over a two-week period, we traveled to some incredible locations: Bratislava, Großglockner, and Lake Constance on the Swiss side. Each location was carefully selected to highlight the helmet’s sleek design and advanced features, all while aligning with the TDF spirit of performance and endurance.
In Bratislava, we focused on urban cycling, capturing the helmet in a bustling city environment. Moving on to the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain, we immersed ourselves in the dramatic alpine landscape. This location provided a dynamic backdrop to showcase the helmet’s aerodynamic qualities, with breathtaking descents and rugged climbs. Our final destination was the serene shores of Lake Constance, where we highlighted the helmet’s versatility and comfort in a picturesque setting.
As part of the project, we delivered three campaign videos reflecting the helmet’s diverse appeal and over 150 high-quality stills. These were utilized across Uvex’s social media channels, brand websites, and by third-party partners to amplify the campaign’s reach and impact.
